SES awards
Society of Environmental Science, Japan (SES), which was established in 1987 for the development of environmental science in Japan, has been awarding excellent papers from the papers published in our journal since 1994 and contributors in the field of environmental science since 1998 in order to encourage research that contributes to the development of environmental science. These awards are:
SES Environmental Science Award
Significant contributions to environmental science and the Society of Environmental Science in Japan
SES Research Award in Environmental Science
Outstanding achievement in the field of Environmental Science
SES Young Environmental Scientist Award
Outstanding and promising scientists under the age of 40 who have published original papers and books in the field of environmental science
SES Distinguished Paper Award
Authors of distinguished papers published in the journal, Environmental Science
With great support from companies, SES also gives the following awards.
SES Environmental Research Proposal Award (Fuji Electric Award)
Distinguished research proposal made by young environmental scientists under the age of 45
SES Best Presentation Award (Fuji Electric Award)
Excellent poster presentations conducted by students and postdoctoral researchers
SES Environmental Research Award for Ph.D. Students (Kurita Award)
Distinguished research activity by Ph.D. students (40 years old and under)
SES Environmental Activity Award for High School Students (Kurita Award)
Distinguished research activity by high school and college (3rd grade and under) students
